"This is my family, sitting round the fire and making tururra (music sticks) and urlpurrinya (boomerang). We use a hot wire to brand the wood and decorate them. Mother and child and camp dogs are watching. Women are sitting down on the hill looking at the Country. Lots of flowers and Watarrka (Kings Canyon). The birds are Lyerrtjina (budgerigar). When they passes away, I stopped here (in Ntaria/Hermannsburg).
This pot is supplied with the now out-of-print book "Hermannsburg Potters" with the inside page signed by Dawn and several of the senior Hermannsburg potters.
