Oobagooma began developing her artistic practice through a TAFE Youth Program at the Mowanjum Art and Culture Centre in 2006. She has gained significant recognition in her region, including winning the Kimberley Youth section of the Kimberley Art Prize multiple times. Her work has been offered at auction and is held in private collections.
