Mondo Rondo

Mondo Rondo

In 2011 Mondo Rondo Jewellery Designs launched an Imprint Indigenous Collection of jewellery showcasing the artwork of Emily Kame Kngwarreye, Gloria Petyarre, Minnie Pwerle and Barbara Weir from Utopia, central Australia.

The series included pendants, brooches and earrings using advanced photographic technology where details of the images were reproduced, capturing the colour and detail of the original artwork permanently on aluminium.

Each piece in the collection is engraved with the details of the artist and the work represented.

The jewellery is handmade in Australia and is exclusively under licence through Viscopy by Australian designer Carolyn Daniell of Mondo Rondo. Royalties are paid to the artists or their estates and the artwork details and accreditation have been approved by Margo Neale, Senior Curator of the National Museum of Australia, and DACOU Aboriginal Art.

Bim Bam Brisbane is fortunate to have several Mondo Rondo pieces available for sale.
