This painting depicts designs associated with the site of Warlujarrayi, near Mt Singleton.
Two Kangaroo Ancestors who were camped at the site inadvertently cooked and ate a joey thinking it was a bandicoot. Aroused by the cooking smells Warnarra, the Rainbow Serpent, came to investigate. Seeing that an offence had been committed, he caused a storm to erupt. The sinuous lines through the work shows the running water and the short bars are lightning.
The roundels depict the water sites in the region. Other shapes represent the tracks of the Kangaroo Ancestors.
