This painting portrays little 'warta' (trees) near Nancy's 'ngurr' (home) community Parnngurr.
The warta is a type of wattle with a yellow flower that smells really strong. Parnngurr was a very important place during the 'pujiman' (bush) days as there is a permanent 'yinta' (spring) there where everybody would go to camp.
Nancy still spends a lot of time out bush hunting and collecting bush tucker and has an extensive knowledge of the area.
