This painting entitled "Love Story" depicts a mythological love story about a man and a woman of the Jungurrayi and Napangardi subsection group shown by the footprints.
The U I shape symbolises the Jungurrayi man at Narlu. He came to this site and sat down and proceeded to spin hair on a simple cross spindle known as "Wirrakurru". Clifford said that Jungurrayi sent a message (telepathically) to a Napangardi woman whom he desired but who was the wrong kinship subsection for Jungurrayi. He drew this woman to his campsite with singing.
The Jungurrayi was so distracted by her approaching that he lost concentration on the spinning and his hair string blew away in the wind.
